Presenters:

Marci Hower

Marci brings a unique perspective to every project by blending her broad experience in sales, marketing, design and interactive technologies, which drives her ability to assess e-strategies, synchronize brand extension and create the user experience online.

She is an active member of the Council of Responsible Email with the National Association of Interactive Marketing and the President of Northern Ohio Direct Marketing Association. Marci is also a frequent speaker at local seminars and volunteers with the March of Dimes.

Prior to joining Precision Dialogue, Marci was a Business Development Manager and Account Manager with FutureNext Consulting's e-Commerce Practice. She synchronized branding and messaging with marketing strategy, defined and created the user experience and managed the day-to-day progress of many business-to-business and business-to-consumer projects.

From 1996 to 1999, Marci was the General Manager at Digital Navigation. She was an integral part of growing the start-up company through new business development, establishing partnerships and overall strategic planning. Marci also served as an interactive designer in the mid-90s with industry leader Vantage One Communications (which sold to FutureNext Consulting, Inc. in 1999).

Marci's skills in sales, management, design, creative, and technology all started with a BFA from Parson School of Design in New York. She traveled extensively before coming back to Cleveland. She currently resides in Lakewood with her husband Jeff and their three sons.

Marc A. Majercak

Marc is a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Policy and Analysis and a minor in History. For the last 10 years, this Northeast Ohio native has been fulfilling his true calling as a Web Designer with a passion for usability.

Marc's digital design experience includes tenure at Peerlis, Hits Network, Progressive Insurance and ComparisonMarket. He has also consulted with advertising agencies such as Wyse Advertising, Adpro, Liggett-Stashower and Arras Group. Marc's achievements include winning the 2001 TechKnow Award for innovative multi-media design for GliddenColor @ Home. He has published articles on interactive media and web design in local publications.

In addition to his Senior Web Designer position at Insurance.com, Marc is currently teaching web design at Cuyahoga Community College and pursuing a Masters in Communication. He is a member of the Northeast Ohio Usability Professionals' Association, the Northeast Ohio Direct Marketing Association, and The Web Association. He also maintains Leading Hands, a blog dedicated to updating parents on the ever-changing world of technology.
